Old Fashioned Goulash

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
2 cups beef broth
1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions:
Cook the Beef: In a large skillet or pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Sauté Aromatics:
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the beef. Cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
Add Liquids:
Stir in beef broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
Cook the Pasta:
Add uncooked macaroni to the pot. Stir well and cover.
Simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
Optional Cheese Topping:
If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the goulash before serving.
Serve Warm:
