Cinnamon Rolls with Vanilla Cream Glaze

Here’s a delicious recipe for cinnamon rolls with a delightful vanilla cream glaze. These rolls are fluffy, sweet, and topped with a rich glaze that complements the cinnamon flavor perfectly.

Ingredients:

Dough:

3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast

1/2 cup warm milk

1/4 cup melted butter

2 large eggs

1/2 tsp salt

Filling:

1/3 cup softened butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Vanilla Cream Glaze:

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

2 tbsp melted butter

3 tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

 

 

Instructions:

Prepare the Dough:

In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

Add sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually mix in flour to form a dough.

Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Make the Filling:

Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Set aside.

Assemble the Rolls:

Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over it and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly.

Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 pieces. Arrange in a greased baking dish.

Bake:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Let the rolls rise for 20 minutes, then bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.

Prepare the Glaze:

Mix powdered sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls.

Serve:
