HOT PEACH COBBLER OUT OF OVEN

This simple peach cobbler is so easy, even a child can make it! It’s great right out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon of cinnamon

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup milk

15 ounces sliced peaches in heavy syrup

½ teaspoon of salt

½ cup unsalted butter, melted.

 

 

Preparation

To prepare the batter, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and mix the flour, salt, baking powder and 3/4 cup sugar in a large bowl until well combined mixed.

Gently stir together the melted butter and milk and pour the resulting batter into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Using a spoon, transfering peaches with their syrup to dough.
Combine rest 1/4 c sugar & cinnamon in a small bowl.
Then sprinkle the mixture evenly over the peaches.
Bake for about 45-50 minutes until the top turns a rich golden brown and a toothpick, inserted in the center, comes out without any batter residue.

For an extra gourmet touch, serve this dish hot and consider garnishing it with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream.
